Redeemer serves as an intentional multi-ethnic church for the suburbs outside Cincinnati.

As former missionaries, Pastor Marc Champagne and his wife, Jill, had a vision for a different kind of church that could cater specifically to the diversity that flourished in the communities in and around Mason: One that would reflect the breadth of God's kingdom and bring neighbors together for the sake of the Gospel!

With a core team of intrepid Christ-followers, they brought that passion to life in 2012 when Redeemer was launched with the following vision and mission statements, which guide all we do:

THE VISION OF REDEEMER

To become a multi-ethnic church of influence pursuing individual, family, city, and world renewal for the sake of the Gospel.

JOIN US ON OUR MISSION

To equip people of all nations to love and serve Christ, community, and one another. (Find out how we pursue this as we Grow and Serve.)

Why “multi-ethnic”? Redeemer hopes to be a reflection of the community where God has placed us (Acts 17), which is ethnically diverse. This happens, as well, to be a snapshot of the worship community in heaven, where people from every nation, tribe and tongue come together to glorify God and enjoy Him forever (Revelation 7:9).  We believe this is a visual demonstration that the Gospel truly breaks down all barriers. Since the church is not defined by a corporate worship service only, we also seek to have an intentional presence in the community as it is beyond the bounds of Sunday morning.

Why a “church of influence”? Redeemer wants to be “salt and light” to the people of Mason and the surrounding area. Influence is not meant to express power, but rather the product of humble service which is a genuine benefit to those who receive it. We want to be the kind of people who make a real difference for the community’s good and God’s glory, envisioning renewal in all spheres of life, from the individual to the family and the culture and society in which we live.
