We are called to love and action for the poor and oppressed, orphan and widow. At Redeemer we care about renewal on all levels, which means we care about how the Gospel informs personal, societal, and global change.
Redeemer hosts a monthly community prayer network as well as town meetings to address the spread of heroin abuse in the area. We support the work of our local fire and police departments through the chaplaincy program. During the Christmas Season, we celebrate Christ in our "Christmas for the Nations" event at Mason Municipal Building.
Our active involvement in launching, and through ongoing participation in, the Mosaix Cincinnati Network keeps us abreast of the pressing issues in our broader community, especially as it relates to the multi-ethnic movement and matters of justice and reconciliation.
Reaching beyond our city boundaries, we partner with New City Fellowship in St. Louis to support their involvement with the widow and those in poverty through participation in their Work Day program. We are also members of the New City Network, which facilitates church planting among the poor.
In partnership with Back2Back ministries, we come alongside their work with the orphan in countries like Mexico and Haiti. It is our joy as well to partner closely with Partners India, a vibrant ministry in India transforming communities in the rural population.
